I am passionate about giving my time and resources to good causes including charities and community events.

I live in the beautiful Hampshire countryside with access to walks and runs just outside my door and it would be wrong not to take advantage of such gifts.

I started running seven years ago through an programme called couch to 5K which builds up your ability to run for 30 minutes without stopping!

This has bought me so much joy as I get to see the seasons and witness the amazing floral and wildlife in the area including red kites, cukoos, hares, deer, and delightful robins.

Being a typical overweight 55 year old, this is all the motivation I need to get my running shoes on and get out there -whatever the weather.

This provides clear thinking and a space to let your mind wander and bring forward the things which are most important at the time.

I thoroughly recommend taking regular exercise - but please first consult a physician before you embark on such an epic venture....
